Celia Orozco

Celia Sally Pacheco Orozco, 76, of Texico, New Mexico, died Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Plains Regional Medical Center. She was born October 12, 1933, in Puerto De Luna, New Mexico to Desiderio Estella Madrid Pacheco.

She grew up in Clovis. She married Elias Orozco , 1960, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis. She was a homemaker and had also worked at Clovis Steam Laundry. She was a member of San Jose Catholic Church in Texico. She loved to quilt and play bingo.

She is survived by her husband, Elias of the home 3 sons, Elias Orozco Jr. of Washington D. C., Urbano Orozco Melissa of Victorville, California and Hector Orozco of Lubbock, Texas 1 sister, Flora Orozco of Muleshoe, Texas 6 brothers, Gilbert Pacheco Virginia of Costa Mesa, California, Joe Pacheco Kathy of Odessa, Texas, Desiderio Pacheco and Paul Pacheco both of Clovis, New Mexico, Tony Pacheco and Daniel Pacheco both of Roswell, New Mexico and 1 grandson, Caiden Orozco of Victorville, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Johnny Pacheco.

A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 1, at SteedTodd Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 2, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Sotero Sena as celebrant. Burial will follow at Texico Cemetery in Texico, New Mexico.

Casket bearers will be Elias Orozco Jr., Urbano Orozco, Hector Orozco, Desiderio Pacheco, Tony Pacheco, Paul Pacheco, Gilbert Pacheco, Daniel Pacheco and Flora Pacheco Orozco.

Honorary casket bearer will be Joe Pacheco.
