Services for Charles Henry Moore, Jr. age 69 of Clovis, New Mexico will be held Friday, July 12, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Steed Todd Chapel with Rev. Scott Seymour officiating, cremation will take place following services. Charles was born December 25, 1943 in Pascagoula, Mississippi to Charles and Wanda Vee Kirkwood Moore. He passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

Charles graduated from High School in Pascagoula, Mississippi and received a football scholarship but declined to join the U.S. Air Force. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 27 years retiring as a Senior Msgt. Charles served in the Vietnam War and around to world including the Phillipines, Japan, Korea and was last stationed at Cannon Air Force Base. He also worked in Saudi Arabia as a civilian contractor and was currently working at NAPA auto parts here in Clovis. Charles attended the First United Methodist Church in Clovis and was a huge collector of hats.

Charles is survived by his wife In Suk Moore of Clovis, New Mexico one daughter Melinda Pantano of San Antonio, Texas two sons Joseph Moore of Hahira, Georgia and Jeffrey Moore of Atlanta, Georgia three grandchildren Brayden Chase Moore of Hahira, Georgia Audrey DLynn Pantano of San Antonio, Texas and Nevin Carter Moore of Hahira, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
