Charles Palmer

Charles Wayne Palmer, age 68, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 18, 2011, in Weed, California. Wayne was born on March 2, 1943 in Turtlecreek, PA, to Charles E. Palmer and Marian Smith Palmer.

He served in the USAF, the Cuban Conflict, and Vietnam War, and retired after 23 years of service. He was stationed at Cannon AFB in Clovis, NM, and traveled the world after retiring.

Wayne is survived by two daughters, Teresa Palmer Sterling Rodney of Deer Park, CA, and Vicki Palmer Banister Ronald of Portales, NM a sister, Dorothy Palmer Stewart of Parkersburg, WV a brother Robert Darr Palmer Pam of Land OLakes, FL numerous nieces and nephews 11 grandchildren and numerous greatgrandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents a brother, William N. Palmer and a sister, Patricia Palmer Horton.

Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m., August 3, 2011, at Floyd Cemetery with Beau Lamb officiating.
