Charles Warner

Charles "Chuck" D. Warner, 71, of Alamogordo, New Mexico passed Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Clovis Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Clovis, New Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Mary (Boyd) Warner, by a sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Norbert Schlecty, brother-in-law, Bill England, and wife, Rebecca (Becky) Denlinger who he married in September of 1998.

Chuck grew up in rural Ohio graduating from Ansonia Local Schools in 1970. He had a great love of horses from an early age. Chuck served as a 4-H advisor for Greenville Rangers 4-H Club in Greenville sharing his knowledge of horses for many years. In 1998, he moved from Ohio to Alamogordo, New Mexico to start his life over with Becky and live out his dream. Chuck always dreamed of living out west with his horses and plenty of sunny days for riding. He had many jobs throughout his life but took great pride in his time working at the New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Chuck was known for his pranks and orneriness.

Chuck is survived by a son, Chris (Jennifer) Warner of Rossburg,Ohio; daughter, Julie Warner-Price of Ansonia,Ohio: grandchildren: Katelyn, Logan (Mariah), Allison, Madison, and Lauren Warner, Lane Clark, and Delayne Price; great-granddaughter Sophia Warner; sister, Cindy Pike along with his nieces and nephews.

Chuck was a member of the Tularosa Masonic Lodge #49 of Albuquerque, NM. A Masonic funeral rites will be performed at gravesite. The burial date will be determined at a later time by his family. Chuck will be buried with his wife, Becky, on April 4, 2024 at 10:00am at Monte Vista Cemetery in Alamogordo, NM.
