Christina Vargas

Christina Ann Vargas was born October 5, 1940 in Whitter, California to Forrest and Gertrude Pollette. She passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at her home in Clovis, New Mexico. Christina was one of a kind. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother and friend, always putting other before herself. She will be dearly missed and loved.

Services for Christina Ann Vargas, age 70, of Clovis, NM, will be held as soon as her ashes are returned from Texas Tech University. Christina donated her body to science, so other can live.

Christina is survived by her sons, Troy Deckert, Sr. of Woodward, Oklahoma, and Michael Vargas, Sr. of Clovis, New Mexico daughters, Shannon Fouts of Peoria, Arizona, and Hollie Vargas of Clovis, New Mexico grandchildren, Troy Deckert, Jr. of Woodward, Oklahoma, Kyra Deckert, Michael Vargas, Jr., Brandan Vargas, Heavenly Vargas, Amber Vargas, and David Vargas, all of Clovis, New Mexico, Brian Fouts, Kristen Fouts, and Jason Fouts, all of Peoria, Arizona, and Alanna Vargas and Danielle Kirven, both of Clovis, New Mexico and greatgrandchildren, Aidan Vargas and Hailee Vargas, both of Clovis, New Mexico.
