Christopher Mendoza

Christopher "Eric" Mendoza, age 31, of Clovis, NM was called by the Lord to enter the gates of Heaven on March 16, 2019 in Clovis. Eric was born on June 23, 1987 in Lubbock, TX to Leonard Eric Mendoza and Laurel "Christi" (Bailey) Jaime.

Eric worked for Coca-Cola as an Account Manager Combo. He took pride in his job and was a hard worker always pushing forward and giving only his best. Eric was a family man and cherished the moments being with all of them especially his kids. His kids were his world and meant everything to him. Eric had many hobbies and passions, weightlifting was one of them. When he wasn't in the gym he would take advantage of what Mother Nature has given us. He loved being outdoors doing things like camping, site seeing, hunting and hiking. We are all going to miss him dearly.

Eric is preceded in death by his grandmother, Angelica Mendoza and grandfather, Rick Bailey.

Surviving his death are his father, Leonard Mendoza; his mother and step-father, Christi and Steven Jaime of Roswell; his son, Landyn Mendoza of Clovis; daughter, Addisyn Mendoza of Clovis; sisters, Danielle Mendoza of Colorado Springs, Sabrina Mendoza of Roswell and Cataline Mendoza of Colorado Springs; grandmother, Laura Bailey of Clovis; grandfather, Leonard Mendoza of Grand Prairie, TX; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and a niece.

Public viewing is Thursday, March 21 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Steed Todd Funeral Home.

Funeral services are Friday, March 22, 2019, 4:00 pm in the Steed Todd Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Lombrana officiating.
