C.J. Lansford

Charley Joe Lansford CJ passed away in his home in Melrose, NM on Saturday May 26th, 2012. CJ was born on October 8th, 1940 in Childress, TX. He loved and lived in many places in New Mexico.

He married in 1961 in Espanola, NM. He proudly served as a Staff Sgt. In the Army Reserves, was a shop foreman at Jemez Mtn. Electric Coop in Espanola, before starting his contracting business in Clayton, NM where he raised three children.

CJ was loved and survived by 2 sons and 1 daughter, Brian Lansford and wife Andrea, Brandon Lansford and wife Kim and Brenda Duncan and husband Jim six grandchildren, Amanda, Wesley, Chelsea, Marlon, Sara and Megan. He was also survived by 8 siblings Dalton, Wanda, Janice, Lloyd, Lenore, Leon, Treece and Derrell.

Services will be held at St. Pauls United Methodist Church, 9500 Constitution NE, Albuquerque, NM on Friday June 1st at 11:00 AM. Reception to follow in Chapman Hall.
