Clara Thompson

Clara Thompson, 90, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Sunday, December 30, 2007 at Skies Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born in Daingerfield, Texas December 6, 1917 to John Thomas and Myrtis Leon Hare and was the youngest of 10 children. She married Donis R. Thompson February 3, 1945. She owned and operated Thompson's Kindergarten for many years and was very active in the First United Methodist Church and the community.

She is survived by her sons, John Thompson and Jesse Burl Thompson and his wife Denise; grandsons, John Thompson, Jr. and wife Carrie, James Thompson, Clint E. Thompson and Deke C. Thompson and wife Brandi and great grandchildren, Colby 6, Taylor 4, Deken Eric born December 10 2007, and twins Allison and Jackson 8. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2008 at First United Methodist Chapel with Rev. Harry Riser officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
