Our beloved Coby Joe Greenwalt, passed on the night of December 2, 2011, in a car accident. A couple of weeks shy of his 34th Birthday. Family and friends are welcome to visit Coby at SteedTodd Funeral Home. A church service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2011, at Central Baptist Church. Rev. Derek Osburn, Lead Pastor of The Vine Community Church will be officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
Coby was born on December 22, 1977 in Clovis, New Mexico to Buzz and Terri Greenwalt. He graduated from Clovis High School in 1996. After graduation he attended and played basketball for ENMU. He was employed by BNSF Railroad as a conductor for almost 9 years.
Coby filled his life with excitement and joy. He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, brother and most of all, friend. He was driven and believed there is nothing in life he could not do. He was one out of a million.
He is survived by his wife Jessica Greenwalt two daughters, Alyxa KingGreenwalt, and Teagan Riley Greenwalt his mother and father, Buzz and Terri Greenwalt one sister, Cisti Greenwalt Josh Potocki a niece, Caydance GreenwaltPotocki grandparents, Joe and Suzie Hatley and Bill Greenwalt numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Helen Greenwalt an uncle, Rickie Hatley and one son, Riley PartinGreenwalt.
Family is available for visitation at 2414 Ross St., Clovis, NM.
