Curt Brooks

On March 3, 2017 heaven joyfully welcomed Curt Landon Brooks, 30, of Farwell, TX. He danced through the gates singing and now leads the angel choir.

A Celebration of Curt's life will be Friday, March 10 at 2 p.m. New Mexico, 3 p.m. Texas, at the Hamlin Methodist Church in Farwell, TX with graveside service following at Texico Cemetery.

Curt was preceded in death by: grandparents Jim and LaVaughn Brooks; grandma Doris Brooks; grandma Melva Thrasher/Brooks; grandpa Clarence Kube; Grandma Sherri Hukill; 'Pa' Earl Willmon; uncle Oscar Brooks; cousin Spencer Kube; and other treasured loved ones. They gloriously welcomed him home.

Curt is survived by: his parents Wilburn and Stephenie Brooks; sister LaShawna Young; brother in law Wyatt Young; two beautiful nieces LaKenley and Katelynn Young; Brooke Ryan/Brooks, the love of his life; grandmother Berna Dean Kube; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who love him dearly.

At the young age of nine, Curt graciously answered God's calling and professed his love for Jesus Christ through baptism at the Advent Christian Church in Clovis, NM. He led multiple church choirs and bands where he shared his talent for singing and playing musical instruments. Many examples of Curt's beautiful art and talent can be seen in the homes of family and friends where they will forever remember the gifts that Curt shared with them. Curt blessed us with deep love, much laughter, and amazing hugs. Curt was gifted beyond description on this Earth and now his Father God and all of Heaven enjoy his unique humor, many gifts, and talents. We thank Father God for the blessing of Curt's life and love.

Pallbearers will be Kirk Lebow, Tyler White, Steven Blakely, Celio Santos, Matthew Kube, and Jeff Brooks.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Quilin Brown and Case Perkins.
