Curtis Sims

Curtis Mae Sims, age 71, of Clovis, NM entered into the kingdom of Heaven on December 25, 2018 in Clovis.

Curtis was born to the home of Cornelius and Birtie Mae Phillips on November 18, 1947 in Mart, Texas.

Curtis was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Birtie Mae Phillips; sister, Ruth Yarbrough and grandson, Ian Phillips.

Curtis is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Ann Phillips of Dallas, Texas; brother, Willie Phillips of Plainview, Texas; sisters, Wanda Spillman, Pauliene Monroe, Margarett Babers, Shirley Branch, Joyce Washington, Virginia Mathis all of Clovis, New Mexico, and Pat Brookins of Tulia, Texas; 5 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is Friday, December 28th from 11:00am to 7:00pm at Steed Todd Funeral Home. Her Going Home Celebration will be held on Saturday, December 29th at 1:00 pm in the Steed Todd Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Garden Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Travis Phillips, Tyler Phillips, Tizrick Phillips, Darius Phillips, and Craig Phillips. Honorary pallbearers are Marcus Phillips and Ian Phillips.
