Daisy Eaton

Daisy F. Eaton formerly of Clovis passed away on January 24, 2010 in Fayetteville, NC. Daisy was born February 20, 1926, to Bud and Fannie Fulgham in Clovis, NM. She was one of eleven children.

She married R. G. Hart in October, 1945 in Clovis. R. G. passed away in July, 1965 in Clovis. Daisy and R. G. had two children, Gloria Halle who passed away in June, 1998 at the age of 51 and Robert Hart. Gloria had five children, Dene and Barbara Whitfield and their children Austin and Lauren JereJene and Dee McCown and their children Brittne, Krissy, and LillyAnne Scott Halle Aaron and Amy Halle and their children Landen and Brayden and Daron and Greta Halle. Robert and his wife, Becky reside in Raleigh, NC. Their son, Jerry, passed away January, 2009. Daisy married Emil Eaton in August, 1967 in Clovis. Emil passed away in March, 1992. Daisy and Emil had one child, Emily Renee Brimmer. Renee and her husband, Todd, and their children Caleb, 13, and Zachary, 9 reside in Linden, NC.

Daisy is also survived by two siblings, Walter and Florene Fulgham of Lubbock, TX and Betty and Odell Webb of Prineville, OR, and several nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends.

Daisy was also preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings, Cecil Fulgham, Fred Fulgham, Frank Fulgham, Roy Fulgham, Bob Fulgham, Ray Fulgham, Mary Miller, and Fay House.

Daisy lived and worked all of her life in Clovis. She was devoted entirely to her family. She lived for her children, her grandchildren, her parents, her siblings, nieces and nephews, and their children. She was never too busy to listen or to help with whatever problem you might be having.

She loved to dance and would often say Id rather dance than eat. She lived her life led by her heart and loved with her soul. She gave others all she had and then managed to find more to give. She measured her wealth by those who loved her and would share with you whatever she had. She loved God with all of her heart and served Him every day of her life. She was a bright shining light and our world will forever have an emptiness without her.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2010, at 10:30 am at SteedTodd Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Mission Garden of Memories.
