Dale Barnes

Dale Lynn Barnes was born on June 20th, 1952, in Clovis, New Mexico to Clyde and Ruth Barnes.

Dale passed away peacefully on June 12th, 2024, just 8 days shy of his 72nd birthday.

Dale joined the US Air Force in 1972, serving for 8 years. Dale was stationed in Charlston South Carolina and Udon Thani Thailand.

Dale worked for the City of Clovis as a master mechanic, retiring in 2003.

Dale spent his summers during his younger years at Alamogordo Lake, and in his later years at Ute lake, fishing, boating and water skiing.

Dale enjoyed restoring Army Jeeps.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Ruth Barnes and his brother Tommy Barnes.

Dale is survived by his niece Savannah Barnes, sister-in-law Verna Barnes, cousins Paul D. and Rusty Barnes, Dona Barnes, Ted Barnes, Mickey Barnes and his best friends Craig and Helen Collier.

A graveside service is scheduled for June 24th, 2024, at 10:00 am at Lawn Haven Cemetery with military Honors.
