Dana Garcia

Dana Lee Garcia, 55, of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on April 21, 2016, at her home in Clovis, New Mexico with friends by her side.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Parkland Baptist Church, 921 Parkland Drive, Clovis, New Mexico, with Pastor Wayne Boydstun officiating.

Dana was born in Santa Barbara, California to Gordon Keith and Barbara Jean Garcia on March 2, 1961. She attended schools in California before moving to Clovis.
Dana worked as a Nurses Aide caring for the elderly people she loved. She was outgoing, and socialized with people of all ages, cultures, or race. She made friends easily. She was always ready for a party, or to help a friend. She was also a lover of dogs, especially her pit bull Louie Lee.

Dana is preceded in death by her Father, Gordon Keith Garcia, and her Grandparents

Dana is survived by her Son Michael Robert Garcia, her Sister Roberta Lynn Jones, Mother Barbara Jean Jones, Step-Father Lawrence Bernard Jones, loving aunts, uncles and cousins, and lots of friends that she also calls family.

Dana requested her ashes be taken to the ocean along her favorite Central California Coast.

Cremation was entrusted to the care of Steed-Todd Funeral Home and Crematory, 800 E. Manana Boulevard, Clovis, New Mexico
