David A. Loadwick

It is with great sadness that the family of David A. Loadwick announces his passing. He will be lovingly remembered by Jonnie, his wife of almost 49 years his sons Bill, Jeff and Eric his grandchildren Cameron, Miranda, Jake, and Carissa his brothers Glen, Tony, and Richard and his sisters Antoinette and Frannie, along with many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Chester A. and Dorothy Loadwick and a sister, Ida Sellman.

A celebration of Daves life will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 6, at First Christian Church with Jon Forrest officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Cemetery.
David was born in Oswego, New York. He was a veteran of the United States. Air Force with over 30 years of dedicated service. During much of his career he served in administration, achieving the rank of Chief Master Sergeant and serving as a First Sergeant for over 15 yearsmany people just called him Chief.

He held a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and a Master of Science degree in Human Relations along with numerous administrative and instructive certificates and licenses. He spent 20 years with Clovis Municipal Schools as a special education teacher, administrator, liaison, diagnostician, principal, and most recently as the Assistant Director of Student Support Services.

David spent more than 24 years on the Board of Directors for Cannon Federal Credit Union and as the Chairman of the Board for many of those years. He also served on The Oasis Childrens Advocacy Center Board of Directors.

David loved the Lord, and had a passion for introducing others to Christ. He assisted in teaching several Bible study classes, and served as a Deacon of Outreach for the First Christian Church. David had an impact on many lives, and many people will carry his memory in their hearts.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a college fund for his grandchildren.
