Deborah Debbie Ann Moore of Clovis, a loving and spirited soul, died on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the age of 58. After a courageous battle with cancer, she passed in the comfort of her home surrounded by family and friends.
Debbie was born in Littlefield, Texas to Thelma and James D. Taylor on March 20, 1954. She was raised in the small town of Plainview, Texas along with her sister Judy Evans and brother Lynn Taylor. She graduated from Clovis High School in 1972 and enjoyed being a clarinetist in the Clovis High School concert and marching band. On December 8, 1973 she was united in marriage to her loving husband Phillip Moore of Clovis. After graduating from high school Debbie was employed as a teller at Citizens Bank of Clovis where she ultimately held the title of Vice President at the time of her passing. Debbie was well known for her great work ethic and willingness to help others at work. She enjoyed making cakes, holiday candy and other various dishes for family, friends, and coworkers. She also enjoyed gardening, crafts, good conversation, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Debbie was very devoted to her family, took pride in her children and grandchildren and was always willing to help out in any way she could. She was no doubt a hard working and caring woman who impacted many lives.
Debbie is survived by her husband Phillip Moore of Clovis Daughter Brandy Rudin and husband Todd Rudin of Greensboro, North Carolina Son Brandon Moore and wife Janna Moore of Clovis grandchildren, Chase Rudin, Taylor Rudin, Jordan Rudin, Dillon Moore, and Tyler Moore Mother Thelma Taylor and Father James D. Taylor of Clovis Sister Judy Evans Brother Lynn Taylor and Fatherinlaw Charles Bell. She is preceded in death by her nephew Sean Evans and Motherinlaw Mozella Bell.
Funeral Services will take place at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Advent Christian Church with Pastor Sam Walsh officiating. Pallbearers will be Brandon Moore, Kenny Moore, Steven Willmon, Donnie Miller, Kent Carruthers, and Gary Young. Honorary Pallbearers are Lionel Skarda and employees of the Citizens Bank of Clovis.
Graveside services will be held at Lawn Haven cemetery following funeral services.
