Debra Romero

Debra Romero, 49, of Clovis, NM died November 15, 2008 in Lubbock, TX. She was born August 9, 1959, in Clovis NM to Vicente and Stella Gallegos.

Debra was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and friend to all she met. We could not have asked for better. She was a life long resident of Clovis, and was employed at Cannon Moving and Storage.

Debra is preceded in death by her son, Adam Romero; and father, Vicente Gallegos.

Survivors include her mother Stella Gallegos; six children and 10 grandchildren, Richard Romero and son, Eric, Ronnie Romero and girls Annie and Allie, Eric Romero and children, Kalaya and Austin, Stephanie Romero and children, Isaiah and Gabriella, Tiffany Romero Chuy and children Seneca, Roxy, and Abelardo, Marrissa Oyler Micheal; her significant other, Benjie Salgado; two brothers, Smiley Dorothy Gallegos and Ramondy Cindy Gallegos; eight sisters, Lorraine Robert Lopez, Louisa Keith Ross, Joann Emmett Bryant, Janet Gallegos, Dolores Peralez, Caroline Arthur Gallegos, Rosemarie Earl Bibbs, and Sarah Reynolds; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Carlos Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Friends and Family. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
