Dennis Harvey, 50, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Sunday, November 22, 2009, at his home. He was born November 12, 1959, in Clovis to Gene Allene Heard Harvey.
He had been a Clovis resident all of his life and graduated from Clovis High School in 1977. He married Teresa Johnson February 28, 1990, in Clovis. He was a heavy equipment operator for the Curry County Road Crew at the time of his death. He was a member of the Curry County 42 League. He loved NASCAR. He loved his family and grandchildren and was to proud to be Grampy.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa, of the home; 2 sons, Mark Harvey of Clovis and Nathan Wade Krystal of Farwell, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Kadyn Wade, Natalie Wade and Alexis Wade; 3 sisters, Rhonda Robinson Mike of Bushland, Texas, Sondra Andes Rick of Clovis and Gena Jenkins Matt of Seminole, Texas; his parents, Gene Allene Harvey of Clovis; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill Glenda Johnson of Clovis and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 24, Noon until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, November 25, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2009, at Steed-Todd Chapel with Dale Cain officiating. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery in Farwell, Texas.
Honorary casket bearers will be all his friends and co-workers.
