Dionicio Romero

Dionicio Anthony Romero, 47, of Clovis NM, passed away on August 30 2021 in Clovis NM.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. September 17, 2021 at Steed Todd  Funeral Home in Clovis NM, with Pastor John Forrest officiating.

Dionicio was born in Portales NM to Alex Romero and Bertha Barela Romero on May 16, 1974.

He married Pauline Martinez on February 14, 2014 in Clovis NM. He was a fire fighter in Vallecitos NM, worked for a sawmill, worked in maintenance, and factory work. He loved camping, fishing, and spending time with his family. Always caring, loving and in good spirit!

Dionicio preceded in death by his grandparents Sonny Romero, Elias Barela, Cora Barela, mother Bertha Romero, and Aunt Martha Chavez and Uncle Ricky Chavez.

Dionicio is survived by his wife, Pauline Romero, children, Anthony, Yolanda, Isaiah Romero, Mariah Sandoval. Brothers, Ignacio and Alejandro Romero, sister, Michelle Romero, brother-in-law Joe Padilla.

Father, Alex Romero, grandchildren, Anthony and Orlando Romero. Grandmother, Mary Ellen Romero, Nephews, Joe and Diego Padilla, Skylar, Sayler, Reese Romero, and Mathana Salem. and nieces, Sara Salem, Jade and Jenell Padilla, Isabella Salem, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
