Don Kraus

Don L. Kraus, age 87 passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013. Don was born on October 27, 1925 in Lane, Kansas. Don was the oldest of three children, Don, Melinda, and Joe Kraus. Born to William A. Kraus and Elsie Reheard. Don also had half siblings, Opal, Lloyd, Clyde, and Ilene, born to William and Lucy Kraus. Don married Wanda McKay and had two children, Larry and Betty Kraus. Don moved to Clovis in the 70s where he met and married Ora Petty. They were happily married until her passing. Don and Ora together opened Clovis Furniture where Don worked the rest of his days. Don married Sharon Calder in April of 2006. He was a hard working man who liked helping others. He was involved in his community. He also served in the U.S. Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents wives, Ora and Wanda and his siblings.

He is survived by his wife Sharon his children, Larry and Betty his grandson, David Kraus and his children, Aaron and Alijah his granddaughter, Joree Walters his granddaughter, Kim Nottestad, and her children, KayLee and Raimey his grandson, John Kraus, and, his children, Hayden and Ryan and also his stepdaughter, Terri White, and her children, Lance and Makala.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2013 in the SteedTodd Chapel. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
