Donald Cain

Donald R. Cain, 66, of Conchas Dam, New Mexico died December, 2006 after a long illness. Services will be January 4, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at Steed-Todd Chapel in Clovis with burial to follow at Hollene cemetery. Don was born June 18, 1940 in Kaufman, Texas to the late Tom and Jimmie Mae Cain. Don married Anita Rierson on Feb. 22, 1959. Together they moved to Conchas Dam in 1996 from Albuquerque where he retired after 26 years from PNM as chief mechanic.

Don is preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Don is survived by his wife, Anita of Conchas Dam, children, Deanna Scarton and husband Les of Albuquerque, Steve Cain of Rio Rancho, Jeff Cain and wife Leslie of Longview, Texas, Ronnie Cain and girlfriend Lorraine of Conchas Dam, Cara Gregory and husband Peter of Albuquerque, ten grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Helping Hands Hospice, 615 South Second St., Tucumcari, NM 88401.
