He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Kathryn Bush, 3 brothers, Morris Killough, Weldon Killough and Bill Killough and son, Philip Killough.
Donald spent most of his life contracting and building houses, and sometimes his crew consisted of Billy, Weldon, Johnny Philip. He worked very hard making a living for 7 children. He also worked at Triangle Home Center also for 14 years while still doing some contracting. He then decided to venture out to something he always wanted to do, which was to farm. He enjoyed this a great deal, but by then most all of the children were out of the home, so even if the crops didnt do well at times he loved every moment especially spending time with David Noble Killough. We heard some really funny things that happened. He also loved Shug for providing lunch for them all.
When mom and dad needed more help, Dee and Cameron moved to Farwell to live with them in December 2005 and Daddy explained to Dee, Cameron, Leigh, Mike, Jessi, and Micki, how to build their apartment for them. We spent many long hours together. Daddy also helped care for Jessi, they had really fun afternoons, listening to whatever music Jessi wanted, Micki and dad also played chickenfoot and both cheated constantly
We still laugh about that. Popping eating lots of popcorn
Even though daddy couldnt do everything he wanted to with Jessi, he always had time to spend with her; she loved to have pictures taken with her great granddaddy and we have lots of them both with their goofy faces they would make
She has lots to remember him by, just as we all do.
He loved playing dominos with all and most all of his great grandchildren. Daddy was a great inspiration to all of us and stressed how important honesty and love to all friends and relatives were.
We will all truly love and miss him dearly.
Love your wife Ann, Joanne, Weldon, Billy, Johnny, Dee, Donita and Philip in spirit.
