alignleftGraveside Services for Donald Joe Pipkin age 74 will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Wayne Boydstun officiating. Mr. Pipkin was born June 17, 1934 in Clovis, New Mexico to O.B. and Leona McClure Pipkin. He passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. D. J. married Lila Holland September 18, 1954 in Clovis, New Mexico. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for over 50 years as a welder and retired in 1995.

alignleftHe is survived by his wife Lila Pipkin of 54 years of Clovis; one daughter Donna Wright and her husband Tom of Clovis; one son Matt Pipkin and his wife Casey of Clovis; one brother Jess Herbert Pipkin of Groesbeck, Texas; seven grandchildren Troy Pipkin, Aubrey Pipkin, Sara Wright, Alexandra White, April Stone, Trace Wright, and Mark Wright. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Zola Maureen Pipkin.
