Services for Donna Forsee age 96 of Clovis, New Mexico will be held Friday, July 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at 16th and Pile Church of Christ with Jim Gammon and Garrett Bookout officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories with Christopher Miller, Mitchell May, James Kratzer, Evan Ditmore, Corey Cantu, Kyle Wilson and Clint Montague serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Caretakers of the Senior Residence Center in Clovis.
Donna was born April 3, 1918 in Pineywood, Arkansas to C.F. and Emma Hayden Burke. She grew up in Wicks, Arkansas and married Dudley Forsee in Wicks, Arkansas. Donna was a homemaker and during the War she volunteered making Dr. Coats and Rolling Bandages. She loved to craft, was a faithful member of 16th and Pile Church of Christ where she taught Bible Class. She lived a very happy and pleasant life. She was a lifetime member of the Fairfield Extention Club.
She is survived by her two daughters Kay John Prater of Clovis Pat Pitre of Baton Rouge, Louisiana two sons Jim Nancy Forsee of Shawnee, Kansas and Eldon Donna Forsee of Gardener, Kanas four grandchildren Chris Pitre of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Teresa Cantu of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Sarah Forsee of Kansas City, Kansas, and Amy Gary Campbell of Clovis, New Mexico five great grandchildren Cory Cantu of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Caroline Cantu of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Hailey Campbell of Clovis, New Mexico, Kye Skelton of Clovis, New Mexico, and Mitchell May of Clovis, New Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister, her brother, a son in law and a great granddaughter.
