Dora Urias

Mrs. Dora (Chavarria) Urias passed away and entered her heavenly home, on June 10, 2021 in Lubbock, Texas. Dora was born on April 30, 1953, to parents George and Guadalupe (Pena) Chavarria in Artesia, New Mexico. Dora married Mr. Mario Urias in 1972 after having traveled in the Airforce, they finally settled down in Clovis, New Mexico. Mario and Dora raised four daughters: Jennifer, Teresa, Sara, and Laura. Dora is remembered by her family and friends as being an incredible wife, loving mother, and the best grandma. Dora was a talented artist in many ways such as crocheting, sewing, and painting.

Ms. Dora was preceded in death by her parents: George and Guadalupe, and by brother: Georgie Chavarria and Ezequiel Chavarria.

Ms. Dora is survived by her loving husband: Mario Urias, daughters: Jennifer (Jason) Shonkwiler, Teresa (James) Smith, Sara (Wes) Urias, and Laura Urias, sisters: Angie Chavarria, Rose Grado, and Patricia Perez, all of Artesia, New Mexico. Dora is also survived by 14 incredible grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held by family for Mrs. Dora Urias.
