Dorothy Aguilar

Dorothy Alice Aguilar, age 68, of Portales, New Mexico passed away on April 22, 2013 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Dorothy was born on October 27, 1944 to Cayetano and Ernestina Padilla Abeyta in Las Vegas, New Mexico. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. One of her favorite things was to play bingo. Dorothy was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Portales, New Mexico.

She is survived by five children: Paulette Aguilar of Portales, New Mexico, Veronica Conrad Armijo of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Linda Sanchez of Las Vegas, New Mexico, Gary Abeyta of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Shirley Ornelas of Portales, New Mexico one sister: Mabel Louis Garcia of Las Vegas, New Mexico three brothers: Alexander Chasson Abeyta of Colorado, Robert Bobby Abeyta of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Louie Abeyta of Albuquerque, New Mexico nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two sistersinlaw:
Rose Marie Padilla and Marie Abeyta, both of Las Vegas, New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her parents two brothers: Francisco Tony Padilla and Phillip Pecker Abeyta.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
