Graveside Services for Dorothy Lee Gale age 90, of Clovis were held Monday, September 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens with B.J. Brooks officiating. A visitation was held on Sunday, September 25, 2011 from 24 at Steed Todd Funeral Home. Dorothy was born September 25, 1920 in Pinehurst, Texas to Thursa Omega Bender Bines Monroe Coleman. She married James Alfred Gale February 20, 1937 in Conroe, Texas. They lived in Clovis since 1943 and she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, enjoyed sewing, cooking and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors are her son James E. Gale of Clovis two daughters Beverly Terry Davis of Clovis Wanda Jimmy Bartholomew of Gilbert, Arizona Eight grandchildren Bobby Davis, Michael Karen Davis, Michelle Cain Jacobs, Katie Bartholomew, Alicia Gale, Beverly Gale, Robin Crawford, and Bernadette Gale five great grandchildren Lisa Marie Gale, Chance Jacobs, Andrew Jacobs, Dustin Jacobs, Stephanie Jacobs one great great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Robert Wayne Gale, parents, and two brothers.
