Dorothy Gonzales-Marquez

Dorothy Jean Marquez, age 62, of Clovis, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on June 21, 1948 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Theodore and Maria Antonia Ulibarri Gonzales.

She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family.

Dorothy is survived by her long time companion, Ruben Marquez five children, Ted Gena Gonzales, Emily Anaya, Jeannie James Aragon, Lorenzo Michelle Carrera, JerriAnn Sam Carrera nine grandchildren, Aurielle Aragon, Kameron Anaya, Heather Garcia, Derek Gonzales, Mykel Carrera, Merisa Carrera, James Aragon, Lexy Carrera, and Samuel Tapia two greatgrandchildren, Chyanne Garcia and Audrey Violet eight sisters and brothers, Delores Ulibarri, Manuel Ulibarri, Ray Ulibarri, Beatrice Sandoval, Cindy Crustitila, Ester Pearson, Jennifer Berry, and Josephine Mount and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents siblings, Barbara Ulibarri, Arthur Ulibarri, Tresa Baca, Betty Apodaca aunt and uncles, Mary Flores, Nabor Ulibarri and Manuel Ulibarri niece, Judy Ulibarri and nephew, Aaron Apodaca.

A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and a Mass at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, also at Sacred Heart with Father Carlos Chavez. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Juan Marquez, Alejandro Najera, Albert Marquez, Arnoldo Najera, Ray Ulibarri, Manuel Ulibarri, and Octavio Marquez. Honorary pallbearers are all of Dorothys grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
