Dorothy Ann Pittman Lovelady, 67, of Farwell, Texas, died May 7, 2009, at her home in Farwell. She was born February 10, 1942, in Amarillo, Texas to Alonzo L. Pearlie Mae Brewer Pittman.

She went to school in Childress, Texas. She married Roy W. Lovelady, May 9, 1959, in Childress and they moved to the Farwell area in 1960. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, listening to Coast-to-Coast AM Radio, genealogy and collecting stamps and coins.

She is survived by her husband, Roy W. Lovelady of Farwell; son, Roy D. Debbie Lovelady of Muleshoe, Texas; daughter, Cathy Lovelady Muleshoe, Texas; grandchildren, Terrance Kristy Lovelady of Littlefield, Texas, Kera Lovelady and DJ Lovelady both of Tennessee, Tisha Lovelady of Clovis, New Mexico, Stevie Jo Williams and Colton Williams both of Muleshoe, Texas; great grand children, Tryst, Abigail, Baylee, Kylor and Trenton Lovelady and Zoie Pierson; brothers, Wesley Pittman of Moore, Oklahoma, Jimmy Pittman Della of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Gary Pittman of LaPorte, Texas and sister, Shirley McCoy of Hope, Alaska.

She was preceded in death by son, Donald Ray Lovelady; grandson, Eric Lee Lovelady; her parents; brother, Stephan Pittman; sister, Virginia LeMaster and sister-in-law, Oni Mae Pittman.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. MDT Monday, May 11, 2009, at Steed-Todd Chapel, Clovis, New Mexico, with Charles Carman officiating. Burial will follow at Texico Cemetery, Texico, New Mexico.

Casket bearers will be Colton Williams, Terrance Lovelady, Donald Ray Lovelady Jr., David Lovelady, Dwayne Williams and Charlie Lovelady. Honorary casket bearers will be Ivy Dean Lovelady, Baylee Ray Lovelady, Donald Ray Lovelady, Wesley Pittman, Jimmy Pittman Gary Joe Pittman.
