Dorothy Robinson

Dorothy Ruth Robinson passed from this life at Clovis Healthcare and Rehabilitation on February 5, 2008 at the age of 85 years. She was born November 5, 1922 at Hillsboro, Texas to Bill and Stella Harlin. She was raised in Littlefield, Texas on a small farm with her three sisters; Ima Jean, Willie Fay and Wilma Lee.

She married Irvin Robinson July 3, 1947 and they moved to Clovis in 1948. God blessed them with two children, Virginia Ruth and her husband Melvin Jester of Victoria, Texas, and Larry Ray and his wife Lori of Clovis; three grandchildren, Melissa Diane Jester Weldon and her husband Charlie of Houston, Texas and Brooke Danielle and Rayann Ruth Robinson of Clovis; and two great-grandsons, Hunter and Blake Weldon.

Dorothy is survived by her children and grandchildren, her sister Wilma Lee McCormick and her husband Leroy, and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Stella Harlin, by her husband Irvin and two sisters, Willie Fay Alford and Ima Jean Fred.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2008 at Steed-Todd Chapel in Clovis with Rev. Melvin Jester officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Casket bearers will be Bobby Powell, Steve Wilson, Bobby Alford, Bill Taylor, Gary Wilson and Terry Webb. Honorary casket bearers will be Melissa Weldon and Brooke Robinson.
