Doyle James Harmon October 24, 1936 August 21, 2013 passed away after a long illness on August 21, 2013, in Alto, New Mexico.

Doyle graduated from Clovis High School in 1954. He received a Bachelors Degree in Business from Eastern New Mexico University. He worked in the banking business for many years. Doyle enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife, his children and his grandchildren. He enjoyed riding and taking care of his horse Sarley. He was also an avid fan of the horse races.

He is survived by his wife Sue, of the home, daughter Jana and husband Jon Cox of Clovis, New Mexico, son Randy and wife Beverly Harmon of San Diego, California, step daughter Nonda Cox of the home, nine grandchildren and his sisters, Helen Boyd of Clovis, New Mexico and Marie Homer of Roswell, New Mexico.

Doyle was preceded in death by his father and mother, Dorsey and Anna Louder Harmon. Dorsey and Anna were both deceased by the time he was ten months old. His Uncle Ned and Alice Houk took him in and raised him to adulthood. He is also predeceased by brothers, Ival Harmon, Sydney Harmon, Les Harmon, Wade Harmon, Dale Harmon and one sister Ruth Homer.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Steed Todd Funeral Home Chapel, 800 East Manana Blvd, Clovis, New Mexico.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1856, Clovis, New Mexico 88101.
