Drulene Dru Morris, 50, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Saturday, December 12, 2009, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. She was born November 23, 1959, in Clovis, New Mexico.
At an early age she moved to Clovis, where she was raised most of her life. She was in choir growing up and loved to sing and play the piano. She moved to Andrews, Texas, and lived there several years before moving back to Clovis. She was a custodian at James Bickley Elementary School for 13 years until her illness. She enjoyed spending time working in her yard and was a Dallas Cowboy fan.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Angela House of Rock Springs, Wyoming; 1 son, Chance Ball of Clovis; her father, Charles Kamradt Donna of Clovis; 1 brother, Curt Kamradt Cathy of Midland, Texas and 3 grandchildren, Kayla Morris of Oklahoma, Brian House of Wyoming and Ayden Martin of Clovis.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at Steed-Todd Chapel with Clyde Stanfield officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories.
Casket bearers will be Michael Sandoval, Kendall Jones, Alfonso Sandoval, Al Passarelle, Todd Morris and Kevin Cass.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 1856, Clovis, NM 88102.
