Edward Donaldson Aucoin, 68, of Clovis, died on April 15, 2005 at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Amarillo, Texas. He was born on November 28, 1936 in Henniker, New Hampshire to Wilfred and Therese Favreau Aucoin.brbrEdward married Norma Nudd on December 28, 1963 in Henniker, New Hampshire. He graduated from St. Johns in Concord. He served in the Army Reserves for five years and took many courses for mechanics and drafting. He was a mechanic and the Greyhound Bus Station Manager. He was one of the founders of the Henniker Rescue Squad and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. His hobbies were woodworking, car racing, traveling and camping. He made special craft items out of wood for friends and family. He loved plying cared and games with the family, as well as hanging with the grandchildren and spoiling them with special treats. He also loved working around the house, and anything to do with cars.brbrHe is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lillian Aucoin Stitz; brother, Maurice Aucoin; daughter, Tammy Ann Aucoin; and grandson, Joel Gallegos.brbrSurvivors include his wife, Norma Nudd Aucoin of the home; daughters, Brenda Lee Aucoin Schallert of Tucumcari, Marlene Aucoin and Marilyn Aucoin, both of Clovis; granddaughter, Jennifer Schallert; grandsons, Dagan Gallegos, Joseph Schallert IV, Gideon Aucoin; brother, Roger Aucoin of Henniker, New Hampshiree; sisters, Bernadette Crane, Jeannine Aucoin and Rita Murdough, all of Henniker, New Hampshire; several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.brbrA memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2, 2005 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Cremation has taken place.brbrMemorial contributions by be made to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.brbrArrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home, 800 E.
