Services for Elizabeth Nell Lovett age 86 of Pleasant Hill, New Mexico are scheduled for Friday, June 27, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Jim Peabody officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Lynn Holdeman, Archie Holdeman, Kyle Holdeman, Gerald Dan Whitener, Ricky Armstrong, and Randy Cain. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Verner, Daron K. Rose, J.D. Kelley, Jessie Cantu, Jackie Dane, Roy Lee Richardson, and Don Teague. Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church designated for Missions.
Elizabeth was born May 28, 1922 in Clovis, New Mexico to Richard L. and Nola Girdner Bain. She passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Retirement Ranch in Clovis. She grew up on the family farm in Ranchvale. She graduated from Ranchvale and played pitcher for her High School Softball team, played basketball, and track. She met her Husband Troy L. Lovett at a basketball game in High School and they married on March 24, 1940 in Ranchvale at her parents home. She was a homemaker and a resident of Pleasant Hill community until her death. She and her husband farmed the family farm and ranch and raised three daughters. She was the church clerk at Pleasant Hill Baptist, and the ladies Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed working as the election chair for many years for the Pleasant Hill area. She was associated with Farm Bureau and the family stated she was a great cook.
She is survived by her husband, Troy L. Lovett of the home, two daughters Lynell and husband Tommy Verner of Kingman, Arizona; Gwinette and her husband Allen Rose of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Grandsons Charles and wife Julie of Amarillo, Texas; Daron and wife Sarah Rose of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grand daughters Cizon and husband Chris Sauceda of Las Vegas, Nevada; Michelle and Armando Jimenez of Kingman, Arizona; Lynnee Rose of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Great grandsons Phillip and wife Jessica Verner of McDonough, Georgia; Andrew Sauceda of Las Vegas, Nevada; and David Jimenez of Kingman, Arizona; great grand daughters Gabrielle Sauceda of Las Vegas, Nevada; Tessa Verner of Amarillo, Texas; Emilee Verner of Amarillo, Texas; Victoria Jimenez of Kingman, Arizona, and twin great great grand babies on the way to be born to Phillip and Jessica Verner.
