Elizabeth Withrow

Elizabeth Myrtle Withrow, 90, of Dimmitt, Texas died Sunday, August 26, 2007 at Dimmitt Nursing Rehabilitation in Dimmitt, Texas. She was born January 3, 1917 in Annona, Texas to Edward Eunice Connell Atkins.

She was a former longtime resident of Clovis and Farwell and had moved to Dimmitt three years ago to be close to family. She was a beautician for many years in the Clovis and Farwell areas. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Farwell.

She is survived by 2 sisters-in-law, Annie Atkins of Clovis and Jewel Atkins of Clayton, New Mexico; 1 niececaretaker, June Fisher of Dimmitt, Texas; many nieces, nephews, great nieces nephews and great great nieces nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Tom, Ben Harmon Atkins; 2 half brothers, Bill Phillip Atkins; 1 sister, Elsie Hardage and 1 half sister, Nell Morgan.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. CDT Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery in Farwell, Texas with Pastor Kyle Clayton officiating.
