Elmer Boney

Elmer L. Boney, 89. He was born August 10, 1920, to Lloyd and Malissa Bryant Boney on the Boney Homestead north of Broadview, New Mexico. He died Friday, May 21, 2010, on the homestead.

He married Lilla Faye Blandford May 19, 1946 in San Jon, New Mexico. He spent his whole life on the homestead, except for the time he spent serving Uncle Sam in WWII. He was in the U. S. Air Force, stationed in England. He was a lifetime farmer and rancher.

He is survived by 1 daughter, Kelly Boney of Quay County, New Mexico 1 brother, Archie Boney of Clovis and 1 sister, Mildred Moyers of Clovis numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife his parents brother, Marshall Boney and sistersinlaw, Mildred Boney and Aline Boney.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 24, 2010, at the Boney Family Cemetery on the Boney Ranch. A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m., Monday, at San Jon United Methodist Church.

Casket bearers will be his great nephews.
