Mrs. Trantham passed away at her home on June 28, 2016, in Clovis, NM.
Graveside services for Elsie A. Trantham will be held at 10:00am (TX time) at Sunset Terrace Cemetery in Farwell, TX on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.
Steed-Todd Funeral Home is handling service arrangements.
She was born on December 27, 1919 at Ben Hur, TX and at an early age moved to Waco, TX. She married Floyd W. Trantham Sr. July 5, 1939 in Waco, TX and moved to Clovis, NM in 1960. She was of the Episcopal Faith and was confirmed into the St. Paul Episcopal Church in Waco, TX in 1936 and into St. Games Episcopal in Clovis, NM in 1977. She retired from waitressing in 1976.
Her husband preceded her in death on April 9, 1996, as well as her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Elsie is survived by one son, Floyd W. Trantham Jr. of West Camp, TX; one daughter, Margaret Sue Sharp; her husband, Bob; and one granddaughter, Kathleen Sharp.
