Ethel Marxman, age 96, of Clovis, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Clovis Healthcare Rehabilitation Center. She was born on July 27, 1914 in Calvin, Oklahoma, to Robert D. and Minnie Shaffer Bonner.
Ethel moved to Clovis in 1983 from Grants, New Mexico.
She is survived by two daughters, Mable Laverne Gouger of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Ima Jean Rasco of Clovis a son, James Lee Marxman of Wewoka, Oklahoma a sister, Nona Towery of Broken Bow, Oklahoma six grandchildren and numerous greatgrandchildren.
Ethel is preceded in death by her husband, Ira Marxman her parents 12 brothers and sisters a grandson, David Eugene Pennington and a daughter, Ruth Marlin.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Calvary Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church at 212 Ash in Clovis. Burial will take place at Laurel Land Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas.
