They moved to New Mexico where they made their home and raised six children. Eugene was well liked in the community and had dozens of friends over the years. He worked at the railroad for 35 years. After retirement he and Pauline traveled some, but mostly stayed at home or visited with children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
