Eugene Sandoval

Eugene Rudy Sandoval, "Gene", 50, passed away Thursday August 10, 2017 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, NM. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Steed-Todd Funeral Home, 800 East Manana Boulevard, with Pastor David Dawson officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories. Fernando Gutierrez, Francisco Gutierrez, Johnny Gutierrez, Mike Riggan, Scott Curtis, Antwan Payton, and Isaiah Roybal will serve as pallbearers. Logan Sandoval, Santiago Gutierrez, Michael Gutierrez, Brian Hensley, Charlie Day, and Freddie Cardenas will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Eugene Sandoval was born on June 11, 1967, in Clovis, NM to Manuel Sr. and Annie (Salazar) Sandoval. He was Laura Leal's personal assistant for many years, he also mowed lawns for many people. He spent 22 years with his significant other, Tammy Smith. Eugene loved spending time with his family and friends. His greatest joy was watching his daughters play softball, he never missed a game. He also enjoyed fishing, camping and anything that involved the outdoors. Eugene was one of those people that loved to have a good time and dance. If there was music on, he was dancing! Eugene was a loving significant other, father, son, brother, and uncle.

He is survived by: Two daughters; Aubreyann and Vannessa Sandoval, Father: Manuel Sandoval Sr, One brother: Tommy Sandoval, Five sisters: Mary Jane Roybal, Sally Sandoval, Beatrice Gutierrez, and Trene Arce, Two brother in laws: Donald (Margarita) Smith, Dennis Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by; his loving significant other, Tammy Smith, His mother: Annie Sandoval, One sister: Virginia Sandoval, and One brother: Manuel Sandoval Jr.
