Evelyn Amy Baird

Evelyn was born on September 16, 1935 in High Wycombe, Bucks, England to David and Nellie Emmons Deane. She passed away on April 15, 2013 at her home in Clovis, New Mexico.

She married Robert Baird, III on October 29, 1955 in High Wycombe, Bucks, England. She came to Clovis in 1973 after Roberts retirement from the Air Force. She went to work for the Clovis Municipal Schools as a Teachers Aide at Parkview Elementary School. Evelyn had a zest for life. She enjoyed playing the lottery, visiting Las Vegas, Nevada and going to garage sales.

She is survived by her husband: TSgt Robert Baird, III, Retired United States Air Force, of Clovis, New Mexico two daughters: Maxine Bob Young of Hudson, Indiana and Lisa Ron Beaulieu of Clovis, New Mexico one son: Robert Baird of Clovis, New Mexico two sisters: Thelma and Margaret both of England eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: Raymond, Arthur, Gordon and David and two sisters: Stella and Sylvia.

Memorial services are at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis, New Mexico with Pastor Jon Forrest officiating.
