Exa Lee Smith, beloved Granny, lover of the Lord, life, family, and friends, passed away on June 11, 2008 in Melrose, New Mexico.

Born in Oplin, Texas on October 30, 1921 to Joe and Neely Monroe, she was the 3rd oldest of six children. When she was six years old the family moved to New Mexico and homesteaded North of Melrose.
