alignjustify Floyce S. Jim Johnson, 86, of Clovis died Sunday, May 13, 2007 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. He was born January 8, 1921 in Willis, OK to Sydney and Ella Fultz Johnson.
alignjustify He married Erin Ella Freeman on October 9, 1962 in Clovis. He had been a resident of Clovis since 1945. He was a painting contractor for many years. He served in WWII in the 850th Army Air Force as a Combat Engineer. While serving in WWII he went from Normandy to the Battle of the Bulge and received 5 Bronze Campaign Stars.
alignjustify He is survived by a brother, Don Z. Nell Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO; and a sister, Mardema Bruce Mitchell of Marion, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Erin Ella Johnson in 1998; and a brother, Sammy Johnson.
alignjustify Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.
