Frances Gallegos

Our beautiful sister, Frances Gallegos, 67, went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2021.
Funeral services will take place at 2:00 pm on November 19, 2021. at Clovis New Life Church and burial will be at the Texico Cemetery. Johnny Metler will be officiating. Pallbearers will be: Isaac Barber, Edward Barber Jr., Nicholas Barber, Seth Barber, Nathan Barber, Christopher Gallegos, RJ Madrid, Efrain Galvan. Honorary Pallbearers will be brother-in-laws; Joe Gallegos Sr., Javier Garcia, Shawnn Anderson, Donnie Falks and great-great nephew, Dean Garcia.

Frances was born to Richard and Rosita (Rose Beltran) Gallegos on December 22, 1953. Frances lived most of her life in Clovis, but lived in Rhode Island for a short time. She worked at various places, Snazzy Pig, El Monterrey, Clovis Schools, and her last job was at Plains Regional Hospital. Frances worked very hard and still found the time to share her kindness. From her family to the stranger on the street, she always had a helping hand full of love. Frances loved to sew blankets and crochet, there are countless blankets around she made each time a new niece or nephew was to be born. We know that they will all be cherished with loving memories of Frances.

She is survived by two children, George Barber Jr., and Marianne Ramos (Carlos) of Rhode Island, and a daughter-in-law Kristen Barber of Rhode island. 9 grandchildren, Isaac Barber (Bethany) of S.C., Jaylen Petisce of RI, Edward Barber Jr. (Rachel) of RI, Joseph Petisce of RI, Nicholas Barber, of Clovis NM, Seth Barber of S.C., Gabriella Fuller, Rui Braga Jr.  Nathan Barber of Clovis, NM and one great granddaughter Jessica Barber of RI. Ten brothers and sisters: Manuel Beltran (Alvira Hernandez), Helen Gallegos (Joe Sr.), Richard Gallegos Jr. (Hope), Arthur Gallegos Sr. (Caroline), Daniel Gallegos, Mary Ann Garcia (Donnie Falks), Rebecca Byrd, Joey Gallegos all of Clovis, Priscilla Anderson (Shawnn) of Albuquerque, NM, Erlinda Garcia (Javier) of Santa Fe, NM.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Rosita Gallegos; grandparents, Mereciano Gallegos and Manuelita Valdez, Jose and Isadora (Lola) Beltran; two brothers, Edward (Eddy) and David (Birdy) Gallegos; and son, Edward Barber.
