Frances Musick

Frances Lona Priebe Musick, age 86, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on September 20, 2012 at Childress Place in Amarillo, Texas.

Frances was born on December 31, 1925 in Pike County, Kentucky to Pryde and Leta Roberts Hale. She moved to Clovis as a small child and graduated from Clovis High School in 1943. She married Albert Priebe in the late 1940s. He preceded her in death in 2001.Frances then graduated from pharmacy school in 1949 from the University of New Mexico. This was the first pharmaceutical school graduating class. She worked for many years at Highland Drugs, Rose Drugs in Farwell, Furrs and then she worked for RodenSmith for about 20 years before she retired. Frances married Chubby Musick in 2003 and he preceded her in death in 2010. She was a member at 16th and Pile Church of Christ for many years and was currently a member of 21st Street Church of Christ.

Frances is survived by one son: Doug Deanna Priebe of Murphy, Texas two grandchildren: Rebekah Priebe and Timothy Leann Priebe three great grandchildren: Joshua Priebe, Jackson Priebe and Kaylee Priebe two brothers: John Bud Hale and Dr. William Bill Hale, both of Amarillo, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents her husband Albert Priebe and her second husband Chubby Musick and one son: David Priebe.

Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 21st Street Church of Christ in Clovis, New Mexico with Waymon L. Dowdy, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, New Mexico. Casket bearers are Justin Musick, Brian Crowder, Tim Priebe, Kevin Musick, Allan Michael, Carl Michael and David Lansford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the 21st Street Church of Christ, 1720 West 21st Street, Clovis, New Mexico 88101.
