Frank Moten, age 90, of Clovis, NM, passed away on June 16, 2014 at his home surrounded by family and friends.
Frank was born to Harry and Mattie Reed Moten on October 10, 1923, in Mansfield, Louisiana. Mr. Moten was inducted into the Army in 1943. He served in the military during WWII. After serving in the Army he worked for numerous farmers and ranchers in the Clovis and Muleshoe area.
He was a member of the Clovis High Plains Drifters Motorcycle Club, as an avid lover of the blues, he was never far from his guitar and harmonica. In later years he resided at Retirement Ranch in Clovis.
Frank has a kind heart and a gentle spirit that shimmers when he speaks. A prayer service is planned and a military burial will be at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
