Fredona Bell

Fredona C. Donie Bell, 96, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at her home in Clovis. She was born February 1, 1910, in Jones County, Texas, to W. W. Bill and Malvina Thurman Hall.

She married Horace B. Bell November 9, 1929 in Clovis, New Mexico. She was a member of 21st Street Church of Christ. She enjoyed her Saturday night card playing get togethers with her friends and was even known to stay out past midnight playing cards. She drove countless miles in her brown Ford pickup and could be seen all over town. She kept her wit and sense of humor through out her life.

She is survived by 1 son, Jerry Bell Marcia of Clovis, New Mexico; 1 sister, Billie Finley of Amarillo, Texas; 2 grandsons, Jady Bell Shelley and Jack Bell Kim all of Clovis, New Mexico; 2 granddaughters, Jill Denton Jace of Clovis, New Mexico and Lisa Crouch Allen of Fayetteville, Arkansas and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 1 son, Jackie; 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2006 at 21st Street Church of Christ, with Cecil Bunch officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jady Bell, Jack Bell, Jace Denton, Eric Denton, Corey Bell, Keeson Bell, Austin Crouch, Dylan Crouch and Riley Crouch.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Childrens Home in Portales, New Mexico.
