Gail Dickenson

September 17, 1953 — December 19, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gail Ann Dickenson, a beloved wife, mother, and dedicated healthcare worker, who departed this life on December 19, 2024, at the age of 71. Gail was born on September 17, 1953, and raised in Wichita, Kansas, where she cultivated a spirit of kindness and compassion that would define her life's work.

Gail graduated from Garden City Junior College and went on to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Medication Aide for over ten years. Her unwavering commitment to the care of others exemplified the selflessness she brought to every aspect of her life.

On February 1, 1980, Gail married the love of her life, Kenneth (Kenny) Dickenson, in Garden City, Kansas. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter, raising their three sons, Sean Dugan, Kelly Dugan, and Terry Dickenson, along with their daughter, Stephanie Barron. Gail's great joy came from spending time with her family, creating cherished memories that will carry on in their hearts.

Gail was known for her compassionate nature and her enthusiasm for animal welfare. In her memory, the family invites friends and loved ones to donate to Cindy's Hope for Precious Paws in honor of her beloved pets: Lulu, Molly, Poppy, and Sweet Pea.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Steed-Todd Funeral Home for their support and to the Clovis Police Department and the Clovis Fire Department for their service during this time.

Gail Ann Dickenson will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and her enduring spirit. May she rest in peace.

Gail is survived by her husband Kenny Dickenson, her children Sean Dugan, Kelly Dugan, Terry Dickenson and Stephanie Barron, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and 14 grandchildren.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Galen Martin and Nellie Martin and her brother, Darrell Martin.
