Gazelle Lawrence

On August 31, 2007, Gazelle Mitchell Lawrence went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Gazelle was born to Laura Bell and William Madison Parker on June 19, 1919 in Chelsea, Oklahoma. She moved to House, New Mexico as a young girl and later to Clovis. She had 4 daughters, Charleene Lennox, Elaine Edwardson, Ella Pierce and Lee Smith; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Lawrence; her 3 sisters, Lula Mae Marcum, Snoda Ross and Beatrice Taylor; 1 brother Wayne Parker; her daughter, Ella Pierce and grandsons, Dave Harville and Carl Smith Jr. Gazelle is remembered as a giving and loving woman who was committed and dedicated to her Lord.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis, New Mexico with Rev. Durward Wofford and Richard Lennox officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, New Mexico. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 5, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Casket bearers will be Cecil Lennox, Art Edwardson, Carl Smith, Richard Lennox, Ron Solley Casey Hollaway.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be given to Hospice Family Care at 17220 North Boswell Blvd. Ste. 225E, Sun City AZ 85351.
