George Lopez

George A. Lopez, 48, of Clovis, died in a car accident on July 24, 2006. He was born August 14, 1957 in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Survivors include his long time companion Diane Chapman; 1 son George D. Chapman; 1 daughter Jennifer A. Chapman; 4 grandchildren Mariah, Danielle, Jullian and Rebecca all of Clovis; his parents Antonio and Josephine Lopez of Leyba, NM; 5 brothers Albert Lopez of Leyba, NM, Steve Lopez, Orlando Lopez James Lopez all of Las Vegas, NM and Anthony Lopez of Houston, TX; 4 sisters Esther Lopez Patsy Lucero both of Las Vegas, NM, Lucy Rodriguez of Albuquerque, NM and Sharon Killian of Las Cruces, NM and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Delbert Chapman, David Chapman, Danny Chapman, Dickey Chapman, Lee Lopez, Albert Lopez, James Lopez, Orlando Lopez Steve Lopez.

Services will be held at 10:00 a. m. Friday, July 28, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.

A rosary will be held at 7:00 p. m. Thursday, July 27 at Steed-Todd Funeral Chapel.

The family will be at 1112 East 10th in Clovis.
